Astaxanthin

Is Luminosity Safe To Use During Pregnancy And Breastfeeding?

Yes. Luminosity is safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding. It is formulated without retinoids or any ingredients not recommended during pregnancy. Instead, it uses Bakuchiol, a gentle alternative to retinoids, along with low-irritation actives like lactic acid, lime pearl extract and niacinamide to deliver visible results while remaining pregnancy-safe.

Can Luminosity Be Used If I Have Sensitive Or Reactive Skin?

Yes, but we recommend introducing Luminosity gradually, as it is a more active formula. If your skin is sensitive or reactive, start by using it at night 2–3 times per week in place of Dream Cream, and see how your skin responds. You can slowly increase frequency as your skin builds tolerance. Using Replenish Cleansing Butter can help support the skin barrier, and following with a simple, fragrance-free moisturiser is also a good idea.

Luminosity is a targeted treatment serum designed to refine skin texture, brighten pigmentation, smooth fine lines and help keep pores clear. It uses gentle exfoliating and cell-renewing ingredients such as lactic acid and lime pearl extract, balanced with barrier-supportive actives like niacinamide and astaxanthin.

Dream Cream, on the other hand, is an all-in-one treatment cream focused on overall skin rejuvenation and maintenance. Think of Luminosity as a more concentrated, exfoliating step used to target specific concerns, while Dream Cream supports and maintains skin health more broadly.

Does Luminosity Contain Vitamin C?

No, and this is intentional. Many people experience irritation or sensitivity with vitamin C, particularly when the skin barrier is compromised. Instead, Luminosity is formulated with astaxanthin, a powerful antioxidant shown to have significantly greater antioxidant activity than vitamin C, without the same irritation risk. We also include lycopene, niacinamide and other antioxidant and barrier-supportive ingredients to deliver brightening and age-supporting benefits in a more skin-friendly way.

Can I Use Luminosity With Other Active Ingredients?

Because Luminosity contains a blend of exfoliants, antioxidants, and barrier-supportive ingredients, we recommend using it on its own as your main treatment step at first to avoid overloading the skin. How Often Should I Use Luminosity?

Luminosity is formulated for night-time use due to its exfoliating ingredients. If you choose to use it in the morning, apply a broad-spectrum SPF immediately afterwards, as ingredients like Lactic Acid and Lime Pearl Extract can increase sun sensitivity.

How Long Will One 30ml Bottle Of Luminosity Last?

A 30ml bottle of Luminosity lasts a long time, especially as most people begin by using it slowly. If used daily, it lasts approximately 3–5 months. If used a few times per week, it can last up to 6 months. Only one pump per application is needed, making it a cost-effective, long-lasting treatment.
